CEO Day Event: Change The World

Event hosted by The Magnetic Marketer, 24th June, London

I was honoured to be invited as a guest speaker at the CEO Day in Central London organised by Gurjinder, Marketing Strategist & Mentor, @the.magneticmarketer, a company dedicated to supporting small businesses.

Sharing my journey of self-discovery with Vitiligo

The event was called "Change the World" and focused on the themes of "Be Seen, Be Heard, and Be Bold", each with a guest speaker representing and addressing the importance of each aspect.

I had the privilege of representing the theme of "Being Seen" and participated in an interview with @thesabrinashow. Together, we discussed the importance of embracing our true selves, loving who we are, and feeling free in our own skin. The interview was natural and authentic, covering various aspects of my life journey, including my early Vitiligo diagnosis, personal growth and transformation.

Being in a room filled with 50 women, many of whom shared fears and concerns about being judged in their businesses and how it affected their ability to unlock their full potential, gave me a profound sense of purpose and belief.

A warm reception and positive feedback

I wanted to teach my audience visibility and for them to understand that their visible differences didn’t need to hinder their visibility. I knew having a speaker who was overcoming her fears and being visible would have more impact. Joti was at the top of my mind. I actually couldn’t think of anyone better who could have spoken about visibility and being seen more than Joti.

Joti over-delivered in this part! I think the interview style was such a success and the questions went deep to give the audience a real understanding of what she has been through over the last 25 years. The audience was so open and receptive because of how Joti delivered her talk in an open, honest and authentic way.

She brought so much warmth to the day and her speaking session and everyone felt so inspired after your talk. Thank you so much for being so incredible!
